My First Ballet

The My First Ballet series brings young audiences their first taste of ballet through the magic of fairy tales, captivating music and beautiful dance.

Who should attend? 

Dance fans aged 3 - 8 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Babes in Arms 

All attendees regardless of their age must hold a valid ticket for the performance they are attending. Infants (under 2 years) may attend free if they do not occupy a seat.

Duration 

The performance lasts 40 minutes with no interval.

Seating 

Little Red Riding Hood has allocated seating. Booster cushions will be available.

Noise 

We understand that sometimes children may need reassurance during the performance. We recommend preparing your little one for the theatre, visit qbjunior.com.au for games and stories.

Snacks 

You are welcome to bring refreshments in to the theatre.

Pram Parking 

For safety reasons, prams are not permitted in theatres. Designated pram parking spaces will be provided around the festival site.

Cloakrooms 

A cloakroom is available at Playhouse. This is a first-come-first-served basis but QPAC will endeavour to cater for everyone.

Bathroom 

There are toilets located on the every level of the Playhouse Theatre. If you or your little one needs to go during the performance it is ok to leave the theatre. There are change room facilities located at the Playhouse on the Russell Street Wine Bar level on the Grey Street side.
