Summer School 2020 —

Don’t miss this exciting, annual QB event which brings together budding young Australian and International dance students each January to the home of Queensland Ballet.

Artistic Director, Li Cunxin and Academy Director, Christian Tátchev will be among an exclusive group of teachers ready to mentor talented young dancers during our Summer School program.

Summer School offers dancers aged 11 to 18 years the chance to further their training in a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Classes include classical ballet technique, pointe work, repertoire, character dance, contemporary dance; male technique and pas de deux (subject to number of male participants). Students also participate in informative discussions with Queensland Ballet company dancers, physiotherapy & nutrition professionals and the week concludes with an informal presentation for family and friends.
