Teacher Resource Kits —

Teacher Resource Kits are in-depth documents which have been rigorously created to complement a school’s visit to the theatre, to support a workshop delivered in-school and as a standalone resource.

These comprehensive Kits provide teachers and students with in-depth contextual information about a production, Q&As with various artists and activity suggestions and worksheets relating to the Australian Curriculum – Arts Learning Area, Dance Subject Content Descriptions and Queensland Dance Senior Syllabus General Objectives. 

They are an incredibly useful starting point to investigate ballet or to delve deeper into the historical, social and artistic aspects of a particular production. Teachers should feel comfortable to move in and about the sections of the Kits and the categories within each, thus considering richer and more experiential learning opportunities for a broader range of students and a greater variety of classroom situations.
