Bespoke challenges assumptions about what dance is, what dancers can do, and how dance is experienced.
It is a place where artists inspire each other to create groundbreaking, thought-provoking and relevant new works.
In 2018, we collaborate with artists from Expressions Dance Company; independent contemporary dance maker, Gabrielle Nankivell; and rising talent from QB’s own ranks, Jack Lister. Bespoke will begin outside the theatre with visual artists from film and photography creating a sensory dance experience.
This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory body.
Informative, keepsake programs are distributed free-of-charge at all performances. You can also view the program online before the performance.
