Registrations for 2020 Company & Academy positions open in late May.

Queensland Ballet is one of the Asia-Pacific’s foremost classical ballet companies, led by Artistic Director, Li Cunxin. Our dancers are acclaimed for their technical and artistic excellence, and our annual program offers world-class productions of the best classical ballets and inspired contemporary dance works.

ACADEMY

Queensland Ballet Academy is passionate about developing the artists of the future, providing a clear career pathway through intensive training, to produce young ballet dancers whose talent and ability are internationally sought-after. 

Jette Parker Young Artist Program

A full-time apprenticeship providing elite coaching, unique mentorship and opportunities to perform as part of the Company ensemble.

Pre-Professional Program

Full-time professional training to prepare students for a successful career. This work-based course includes opportunities to perform in the Company’s mainstage productions.

Professional ballet training for advanced students, delivered simultaneously with senior academic schooling in Years 10 - 12.
